Worldwide Snacks Inc wants everyone to be able to shop and do business with us, including people with disabilities. We are working to make www.worldwidesnacksinc.com (the "Store") meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1, Level AA.
What we have done
- You can use the Store with a keyboard. A "Skip to content" link lets you jump past the menu.
- Images that carry information have text descriptions (alt text).
- We check text and links for color contrast.
- Form fields have labels, and required fields are marked.
- Moving content, such as sliders, scrolling banners, animated backgrounds and videos, can be paused with the Pause animations button. With a keyboard, it is the next stop after "Skip to content" on every page, and it is also at the bottom of every page. Animations are paused automatically if your device is set to reduce motion.
- We test our pages with automated accessibility tools on phones and computers.
Known limitations
Some parts of the Store come from other companies and may not fully meet these standards, including the checkout pages provided by Shopify, the chat window, the sign-up pop-up and other apps. Some product photos come from manufacturers and show packaging text in other languages; the product name and description give the key details in English.
